Greg Boulton
Sandbar Divers is based at the Sandbar Boquete Beach Club, a quiet spacious resort, situated on Boquete Island near the small port town of Puerto Galera on the island Mindoro in the Philippines. Established about 10 years ago Sabangdivers meanwhile do have an excellent reputation for outstanding service and individualized diving procedures. The current location, which is the Sandbar Boquete Beach Club on Boquete island, Puerto Galera bay, Philippines offers ideal conditions for divers as well as for family members and non-divers. Gregg Gregory Boulton Greg is a New Zealander, and one of four Sandbar divers directors. He lives next door to the dive shop , and is a member of the Puerto Galera Yacht Club. Greg has spent the past 34 years living/working and enjoying the world’s oceans.
He has been diving since joining the Royal New Zealand Navy in 1976, with a proven track record, including:
- Open Water Diver Scuba School International since 1996.
- Offshore Launch Master.
- STCW 95 Fast Rescue Boat Diver.
- Advanced First Aid.

Chuck Shumack
Sandbar Divers. Chuck brings over 40 years of diving experience to Sandbar Divers , after running his own dive shop in Hawaii for 25 years. A PADI Instructor for 28 years – a NAUI certified Instructor, SSI and SDI Instructor / Trainer. He has been a TRIMX Diver for 12 years.Chuck has been diving in Sabang, Puerto Galera since 1993, where he has been based for the past 10 years. email: chuck[at]sandbardivers.com
Marco Heft
Fluent in English and German , Marco is a member of Professional Association of Dive Instructors, Dive Master PADI / SDI / TDI . Marco started his diving career in 2003 in Sabang as a Dive Master, joining the company in April 2009. He is intimately familiar with every dive site around Mindoro, one of many reasons Sandbar Diver’s clients return regularly to dive with him. Ronilo Magturo - "Nilo"
Speaks English/Tagalog Nilo came to Puerto Galera in 2003 and started diving in 2004 at Tropicana Castle. He became a Dive Master in 2005, then joined Sandbar Divers two years ago, he also manages the dive shop. Nilo is a very popular Dive Master, because he is extremely familiar with all the Mindoro dive sites.
